March is that lovely in-between month - winter roots are still working hard for us - the first signs of new season British produce in the South West are starting to push through (although they will be a little bit later than usual due to the rain we have had).
The UK has had an exceptionally wet start to 2026, with rain falling across much of the country nearly every day since the beginning of the year and many regions recording well above average rainfall, meaning crops expected for early spring in the UK are very likely to arrive later now - please watch Ken’s short video on the issues the wet weather is bringing to us here in the South West:
